Comprehensive care coordination that integrates medical and behavioral health services.

Children’s Mobile Crisis Teams

Rapid, in-home mental health assessment and linkage to services for children and teens who are experiencing — or are at risk of experiencing — a mental health crisis.
Location:The Bronx, Brooklyn, and Queens
Ages Served:Children and teens (newborn to 20 years old) and their families
Insurance Accepted: Medicaid managed care (services are available regardless of insurance status)

Children & Family Support Team and STEPS (FRIENDS Program)

Training in helpful mental health skills and linkages to community resources. Offers support two times a week for 6–8 weeks — with follow-up support for up to 4 months.

Home-Based Crisis Intervention

Short-term, in-home services (crisis intervention, short-term case management, family support) for families with children who are at risk of hospitalization due to serious mental health conditions.

Psychotherapy, short-term case management, crisis intervention, consultation, and support for children with significant emotional and behavioral needs and their families, and school staff.
