On Memorial Day, WNBC-TV featured VNSNY Hospice and Palliative Care Veterans Program Supervisor Joseph Vitti in a segment that highlights the different ways that VNSNY’s Veterans Program helps vets—especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. In this video, Vitti assembles care packages for veterans and distributes them to senior living facilities. He also holds a virtual recognition ceremony for a veteran receiving hospice care from VNSNY.
