We are proud to announce that EVP and CFO Keith Patterson has been named to Crain’s New York Business 2025 “Notables in Finance” list, recognizing his outstanding leadership and impact in health care. Crain’s list honors top financial executives across New York who are driving innovation, growth, and positive change in their organizations and communities.
As CFO of one of the nation’s largest nonprofit providers of home- and community-based healthcare, Keith oversees the financial strategy and operations for VNS Health. The organization serves over 73,000 patients, members, and clients through its broad range of services, including home health care, hospice care, behavioral health care, private pay services and managed care plans.
Under Patterson’s leadership, VNS Health has significantly expanded its footprint in the Medicare Advantage space and extended health plan offerings across upstate New York. Today, VNS Health plans are available in 38 counties, reflecting the organization’s commitment to accessible, high-quality care for diverse and underserved communities. Last year, Keith helped VNS Health acquire 4 upstate managed long-term care organizations that were close to shutting down. Many upstate New Yorkers continued to receive services they would have otherwise lost thanks to his intervention.
Beyond his role in finance, Keith is a strong advocate for workforce development. He has helped initiate programs that support career growth and professional advancement for team members.
