Dan Lowenstein, SVP of government affairs was recently named in City and State NY’s 2024 “Who’ Who in Government Relations” list. The list features prominent figures who are shaping and influencing government policies that impact the lives of New Yorkers. Some of the changes they are pushing for involve health care coverage, affordable housing, and other socioeconomic issues.
Dan leads the government affairs team and advocates for solutions that support the growing number of New Yorkers aging in place or living with disabilities. Dan, the team, and many others played a key role in pushing for New York State initiatives like restoring quality incentive funding for managed long term care plans. He also helped ensure adequate funding for MLTCs serving individuals with the most complex needs, raising funds to increase home care worker wages, and making it easier to integrate services for people enrolled in both Medicaid and Medicare.
