VNS Health will be at the Friends & Family Seminar hosted by the National Alliance on Mental Illness. The seminar is a free, in-person event where individuals that have loved ones with mental conditions can learn how to better care for them. This also provides an opportunity for individuals to meet with other caregivers to share about similar experiences and support each other.
The session will include topics surrounding coping strategies, practical information to support family and friends, and programs for other types of support including suicide crisis/prevention.
